Starley-Bob

Is it a bit weird that I have named my car "Starley-Bob"???? Well it wasn't really my idea, it was my best friend (she's weird..).. It all started in 5th year when I got the nickname Shinnie-Bob, soon after my other friends got named Chinmey-Bob and Curly-Bob-Sue.. We have just a little obsession with the word BOB!

So I wasn't long driving when my car got its nickname too... About a week... :)

If you havn't copped on already, its a Toyota Starlet so the name does suit it...

And yes, I managed to damage the car already.. Stupid pier getting in my way!! Well I was not a happy bunny... It is only a scrape but my Starley does have feelings..

It gets me from A ---> B and thats all that matters!! For now.. Until I can afford to spend more on a car... MMmmmm cars.......

My First Weekend in my New Job..

My first weekend as a waitress in the Valley Inn didn't go so good!!

Well Saturday was fine, it was busy but manageable...

Sunday morning I don't know how I got out of my leaba, knowing I had over 9 hours of hard work ahead of me!! But a bottle of Lucozade and I was away..

It was crazy altogether.. But I enjoyed it.. Hundreds, yes hundreds of dinners were served, tables cleared, desserts made and bills paid... And it was all ok until my arm got caught in the door and I sent a full beef dinner flying to the ground.. Woops... I didn't realise a plate could smash into so many pieces.. Right in front of a bar full of people!!

Awh well I cleaned the mess up anyway, I think they are used to dinners going to waste.. But I felt as stupid..

After that, the day was fine... I have never been as tired getting up for college though as I was this morning!!

Its times like these when I just think of the wages at the end of the week ('',)

I Got a New Job!!

Finally, yes finally I left my old job...
I hated it. The boss was, to put it politely, not the nicest of people, and he always gave me a hard time.. Plus i wasn't getting enough hours to keep up the college lifestyle!! Ha! Ha!

But not to worry.. I was finished there last night, and I'm starting my new job tonight! With more hours, better pay and nicer co-workers, I can't complain that I'm actually going to have to do some work this time round.. It is a busy restaurant..

I can't wait!!

Rally Ireland

Anyone ever hear of Rally Ireland?
As part of the World Rally Championship 2007, one stage of it is taking place in Ireland from 15th-18th November this year.
The rally will take place around Belfast, Donegal and Sligo.
All the great WRC drivers are competing, from Sebastian Loeb in his Citroen C4, to Marcus Grunholm in his Ford Focus, to Petter Solberg in a Subaru Impreza..
It's a once in a lifetime experience.

I am passionate about cars and rallying, which you have probably figured out already..
And I am sick, yes SICK that I'm not allowed go to it..
